As any person who started from nothing and had created something, like building him self with a great character or creating a big company that is helping a lot of people to achieve something of a huge significance for them, he needs to give back to the community that helped him to build himself or his business out of.
Such a contribution has just been made by one of the biggest crypto exchanges Binance. They have made an undisclosed investment into e-sports blockchain-based voting platform called chiliZ – announced on their Medium account.
According to the press release, this Malta based e-sports platform, is part of Mediarex Group, which is a global sport and entertainment company. They will join forces into providing the sports industry with as the have put it “fan-driven token ecosystem for traditional sports teams.”
The startup company chiliZ had already raised 27 milion dollars through a private token sale, stating that Binance’s help will enable the sharing of technical knowledge, innovation and creativity.
The CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao had commented:
“chiliZ is a creative way to embrace blockchain technology that aims to promote mainstream adoption.”
Below we can see Zhao’s comment on chiliZ’s CEO Alexandre Dreyfus twitter post announcing the investment, and thanking the Maltese government for helping his company establish in the crypto haven island of Malta.
Thank for helping Binance so much! This is the least we could do. Congrats! https://t.co/xXYGbiqw8l
