Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, has made a huge statement about the leading cryptocurrency future is confident that soon bitcoin will lose its relevance as a technology. He stated this at the Code Conference 2018 in California.
“Bitcoin may end up being the Napster of digital assets. It’s shown what’s possible. But Spotify, iTunes, Pandora engaged the system and regulators, and they ruled the day.”

“People are talking about using bitcoins when buying coffee. But the average bitcoin transaction can take up to 20 minutes, and the cost of the transaction will raise the price of your coffee in half. One day, we may find that bitcoin has become like Napster in the digital assets market, “said Brad Garlinghouse.
The head of Ripple believes that soon altcoins will not depend on bitcoin, and many digital currencies that do not solve real problems will disappear from the crypto industry.
Nevertheless, he paid tribute to the first cryptocurrency, calling it a “revolutionary” technology for the world economy.
